v2.5.2 Released (Fix for Friends List) *Updated*

July 27, 2010 at 3:31 pm 35 comments

PS3 iTrophies v2.5.2 has finally been released on the App Store.

Please download it and let me know whether it has or if it has not worked for you.

Please state your iPhone/iPod Model and iOS version so I can see if there is a trend in any further problems.

Update: Initially it seemed that this update didn’t fix the issue but it seems to be working now, and the old version (v2.5.1) seems to also work too! I’ve deleted the comment’s that said it didn’t work to keep this post less confusing but if you still find it doesn’t work please do mail me.

Thanks for all your patience iTrophies users!

I’ve just logged into the official psn website to check my friends and they have changed it again, this is for the ps3 update released last night. Nothing the developer could have done as Sony never announce when an update will be released.

Cleaned up the comments, seems friends list is working again, finally. Appears to also be working again in the old version of iTrophies too, go figure!

Now all we need is an update for retina display.
There are no PSN apps at the moment that support that and it would be great to have iTrphies on a higher resolution, after all there are many iPhone 4 users out there, and there will be even mire in the future!

    • 17. itrophies  |  July 27, 2010 at 8:11 pm

I followed Apples developer guidelines about what Resolution the icon needed to be for Retina Display and how the icon should be named but I guess I missed something.

Alan (or anyone else), do you think you could lend a hand with developing the next update with high res images? I’ve got a few screenshots from another iPhone4 owner so I think I need to know where to make nicer graphics but I can’t really test it without having an iPhone 4. Let me know if you can lend a hand and I’ll tell you more. Don’t worry, I’m not going to ask you to send me your phone! :)

I be more than happy to help, just tell me how and I will assist you.
Thanks for such a great app support!

Awesome App. Keep up the good work.

Is there an update in progress to support th Retina Display?

    • 20. itrophies  |  July 27, 2010 at 9:02 pm

There will be yes, need to find some one with an iPhone 4 to help me though.

  • 21. Luca  |  July 27, 2010 at 8:56 pm

I really like iTrophies but i use it on a iPad and the quality is low…

Can u create a native ipad version? Pls…

    • 22. itrophies  |  July 27, 2010 at 9:01 pm

It’s in development, but what with iTrophies recent issues and work it’s hard to find enough time to get it done faster, sorry!

  • 23. Musicdeouf  |  July 27, 2010 at 10:11 pm

All Right, thanks for your job. A french guy ;-)

  • 24. Bishop8  |  July 28, 2010 at 12:34 am

Is anyone else havig an issue where the friends list loads the first time but will not update properly?

    • 25. itrophies  |  July 28, 2010 at 6:00 am

If you have a 3GS or iPhone 4 make sure youre quitting iTrophies properly.

Pressing Home button will not quit the app, it will suspend it – this is the multitasking feature in the new iOS4.

iTrophies doesn’t support multitasking properly yet but it will.

  • 33. Tuna  |  July 28, 2010 at 6:17 pm

Hi, maybe is just me but the app just shut down while trying syncing my profile, or it seems because shut down while the message of syncing it’s running, then suddenly the app shut down, I have a iPod touch 3rd gen 64gb os4

    • 34. itrophies  |  July 28, 2010 at 6:23 pm

Hi, if you sync your iPod to iTunes it should ask if you want to submit error logs, say yes and I’ll be able to see the iTrophies logs online and try and see at what the cause may have been.

  • 35. Guido  |  August 2, 2010 at 12:45 am

    Works for me thanks!
iPod Touch 2g running iOS 4.0
